Water can be used for drinking as long as it meets the requirements of the legislation regarding its content of microorganisms and pollutants, regardless of its origin.

It is in response to the recognition that : “Members of the public may consult their doctors and other members of the medical community about public health issues, but physicians, nurses, and others may lack the necessary background to respond to concerns about the safety of recycled water”.
